Beer Bloggers Conference coming to Asheville

by Dryridgeinn on August 29, 2014

While this summer is winding down, there’s some big beer news for 2015. The Beer Bloggers Conference will meet July 15-17, 2015 in Asheville. The announcement was made Saturday by Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada, which of course opened its big East Coast expansion brewery in Mills River.

Both Oskar Blues and Sierra Nevada will play big roles in the conference. The announcement noted that “Asheville is one of the greatest beer towns in the world, with over two dozen breweries in a town of less than 90,000.” It also noted that “Asheville is a fun small town with lots to do and the brewers are leading the nation in the beer revolution.” We certainly agree with all that.

The conference will be held at the Four Points Asheville, within a short walk of 10 downtown breweries. The conference will be limited to 150 participants and the event is expected to sell out, so interested beer bloggers should register at http://beerbloggersconference.org/2014/08/beer-bloggers-heading-asheville-north-carolina-20
